Westwood Fibre has particular expertise in planning and executing selective forest harvesting and we pride ourselves in being the
leader in implementing selective harvesting to achieve our client’s silvicultural, visual, ecological and financial objectives. Our skilled and experienced professional and technical staff offer a full range

Road and access planning and development
Timber evaluation
Reforestation

Fire risk assessment
Beetle surveys and beetle salvage
On-the-job training forest management for First Nations
Administration of the “Managed Forest” tax classification

In addition to our forestry staff, we provide excellent accounting and business services to our clients. This includes administration of contractor’s payments and tracking of timber harvest income. These services are flexible, efficient and reliable.

Our staff markets logs through our network of local and international contacts in the forest industry. Through this network we achieve optimal returns and best log utilization for our clients.

At present, Westwood Fibre is managing an annual harvest of 175,000 cubic meters on private land and 285,000 cubic meters of harvest on crown land.
